Hello Hivers and music lovers! A happy Tuesday to you from my side of the world.

This is my participation in the #ttt or #threetunetuesday initiative by @ablaze. Today the theme is to share some songs that we remember or listen to on holiday.

So I'm going to share some of the songs that when I listen to bring back images of holidays, days at the beach, sun, sand, and sea.

So let's go with my choice of the three tunes for this Tuesday.

Tune No.1 Me Gustas Tu - Manu Chao

In the early 2000s, my husband and I loved to go to a seaside town in Venezuela called Choroní. We would sometimes go with a friend and his Irish girlfriend.

On those holidays, we were accompanied by the French-Spanish singer Manu Chao.

And the song Me Gustas Tu played over and over again.

Tune No.2 Uma Brasileira - Os Paralamas Do Sucesso

If some music makes me feel in holiday mode, it's the Brazilian rock band Os Paralamas Do Sucesso, or simply Paralamas.

The band, which began its career at the end of the 70s, mixed rock with reggae and became very popular in the 80s and 90s when it became known in the rest of Latin America with its big hit Uma Brasileira. Which I include in today's selection.

Other old Paralamas hits bring me back memories and are perfect for a getaway like Dos Margaritas and Coche Viejo.

But with Uma Brasileira, I hear it, and I want to put on a bikini and head to the beach.

Tune No.3 Hooked on a Feeling - Blue Swede

My latest selection today is the version of the classic Hooked on a Feeling by Swedish Rock band Blue Swede, which always makes me think of road trips.

My son loved the song when he was little. One holiday, he was about 7 years old, we spent a lot of time on the road, and I remember him almost making us listen to the song on loop, hehe.
