Hello, Hivers and Wednesday walkers!
Another Wednesday Walk and I still haven't left the house for my hike of the day. But I have some to share. Since hubby has started going with me me on my hikes to the mountains it's a rare day that we don't go. La Fila Park has become our favorite destination for exercise, and although I have shared some of my hikes there before, there are always new things to look at, and the view of the mountains never tires.
Today's hike was last weekend. We hiked up early in the morning. Although I like to go in the afternoons, these days if we have a chance we go up in the morning so that the rain doesn't end up spoiling our plans.
On these days the mountains are usually covered with clouds, but that day despite the clouds the mountains were clear. But there was a bit of a haze in the air. Still, the view was amazing and energizing.
And we always notice different things on each hike. Nature does not stand still, it changes constantly.
The Flowers

Thanks to the rains these days, there are lots of wildflowers on the trail.
That day at the base of this tree at the lookout point there were some beautiful wild blue flowers. But they were gone yesterday. So I was glad to have seen them and even to have taken a picture of them. It's like in life, you have to take advantage of opportunities when they present themselves because we don't know if we will have them again.
More little flowers that I found that day on the road. This time of an intense pink tone.
And little yellow beauties. As a popular song says in my country, yellow is what shines, green is born wherever.

The Butterflies

One of the perks of hiking in the morning is that the trail is full of butterflies. In the afternoons, they are rarely seen. But in the morning, it is as if they show you the way.
And I have fun trying to photograph them. This one, according to Google Lens, is an Adelpha.
There are a lot of these black and red butterflies these days, but it is rare to get them perched on a bush to shoot them. I tried with this one.
One more that I managed to photograph. According to Google Lens, it is a butterfly called Heliopetes.
Those walks comfort me and fill me with good energy, besides being good for my health. And once in a while, when these walks are in the early morning and we have time after the hike, we end up having a coffee. Like that day. But we stopped at a cafe different from our usual and when I asked for a large coffee. They gave me this really big one.
And with that one cup, I had my complete dose of coffee that day;)
