Estopa for the #ttt - Week 62

Hello Hivers and music lovers!

Today is Tuesday, at least it still is on my side of the world, and that means it's Three Tune Tuesday at Hive. For the last two weeks, I haven't been able to join the #ttt due to a busy offline life. And although I'm still very busy, I'm taking some time to share some tunes with you on #threetunetuesday or #ttt initiated by @ablaze.

And what is it the #ttt about? In the words of Ablaze:

For this week, the tunes I will share are by a Spanish duo that started their career in the late 90s. Nowadays, they are still playing. Their genre is pop rock with some rumba. They have a very particular style that caught on immediately. They were a huge success in Spain in some Latin American countries like Venezuela upon their debut.

The name of the duo is Estopa, and it is formed by the brothers David and José Manuel Muñoz. In 1999 they released their first album called Estopa. I used to listen to them so much when they started.

Today was supposed to be a Tuesday to comment in Spanish with my friend @tengolotodo. But because of life, I couldn't be active today on Hive, so here I leave you Ed these songs so you can practice your Spanish, hehe. And to all the regulars and sporadic of #ttt, I introduce you to Estopa if you don't know them.

Tune No.1 - La Raja de Tu Falda - Estopa

For this song, Estopa was inspired by a huge poster with the model Cindy Crawford that was on the Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona at the time. The song was released in 1999.

Tune No.2 - Tu Calorro - Estopa

The song is a Rumba and was released in 1999. A Calorro in Spain is a cheerful young man, usually a gypsy, who likes music and rumba. This song is about seduction.

Tune No.3 - Como Camaron - Estopa

It is perhaps Estopa's most famous song, in which they paraphrase the well-known flamenco singer Camaron de La Isla. Who in his song Soy Gitano talks about "partirse la camisa".

The song was also released in 1999.
