Tuesdays are for sharing some music on Hive, so let's get to it with #threetunetuesday started by 
And even though those of you who know me in the #ttt know that I love oldies. Today I'm going to share something different. An American indie rock band formed in 2016. They're called Big Thief. I discovered it recently thanks to my son's girlfriend, who was the one who introduced me to them.
I found the band to be a great find. I find vocalist and songwriter Adrianne Lenker's voice so deep and so transmitting. And most of the songs I've heard so far seem like pure poetry to me.
But before I get into the tunes, let me give you a little background for those of you who aren't familiar with #threetunetuesday. In the words of

So without further ado, let's go with the tunes for today.
This first song is the one that introduced me to this band. It was the song my son's girlfriend sent me early last week when we so unexpectedly lost our kitty Grogu. The song is called Terminal Paradise. It is a sad song. When I first listened to it and in the circumstances, I cried my eyes out. Now, I listen to it with nostalgia, sometimes with a few tears. The voice of Big Thief's vocalist, Adrianne Lenker, is so heartfelt and deep.
The band has wonderful songs. And this one called Not is one of my favorites so far. I still have many songs from them to discover. But Lenker's voice expresses so many feelings in this one song and I like the rock explosion end.
The third song bears the title of the band's first album Masterpiece. I loved it and have been listening to this band more than anything else in the last week.
