Pushing to retake Grantebridge, I fought alongside allies before regrouping with Soma at the longhouse. Though Wigmund escaped, I defeated his massive Saxon soldier. After Eivor sounded the horn to trigger victory celebrations, Soma pulled Eivor aside to reveal a secret tunnel and request help finding a traitor.
As we had to retake Grantebridge, we kept moving ahead and looked for the enemy leaders, while I took down as many enemies as I could, fighting beside with the soldiers on our side.
I had to regroup with Soma at the entrance of a longhouse where Soma thought Wigmund was hiding, but it looked like he escaped, leaving one of his big Saxon soldiers along with more behind to fight us, barricading the path to the inner chamber.
At first I thought fighting this big man would be a hard deal, but when I started fighting him, it looked easy. His massive weapon swung slowly, giving me plenty of time to read his movements and prepare my counter-strategy.
I just had to dodge some of his attacks and attack him back, and at last he fell down. So Eivor choked him to death, and permanently neutralized the formidable threat.
Soma didn't want to search for Wigmund, mentioning he'll be gone. And then he asked Eivor to sound the horn, that means prosperity, long life, bounty. So I went for it, stepping up to the wooden platform to raise the massive horn and let out a resounding blast.
After the horn was blown up, the scene shifted into a victory party where the winter soldiers were drinking beside Soma, and Soma was cheering all of them up, raising her cup high to celebrate the liberation of the strategic settlement.
After Soma finished cheering them up, she turned to the other side, and Eivor noticed Soma was not really happy with this. Her smile faded instantly into a deep, troubled expression as she looked out over the quiet parts of the crowd.
It was later in the night, when most of the soldiers were sleeping, and Eivor was also taking some rest.
Soma came over to Eivor and it looked like she had something important to talk about so she awake Eivor quietly without disturbing anyone else, or maybe she wanted it to be a secret.
Eivor got up and Soma showed him a tunnel that was her most careful project, which she kept secret in the city. And she believed she was betrayed by one of her advisors, as only she and her advisors knew about the tunnel. Then she requested Eivor to find the culprit, and Eivor accepted the job.
That's all for now.
