Fast-traveling to Ravensthorpe, I welcomed Valka, who revealed her mother had passed away. I helped carry her heavy luggage across the growing settlement, exchanging playful banter with Gunnar and Randvi along the way. Upon reaching her new hut, Valka offered to brew an elixir to help clarify my visions.
After fast-traveling back to our home base of Ravensthorpe, I set out to locate Valka, whom I had spotted arriving earlier. Though she had initially declined to leave Norway due to caring for her ailing mother, her sudden presence in England meant things had changed.
Approaching her, Eivor greeted her warmly and asked how she was fairing. Valka replied that she was better than well, explaining that her mother had finally found peace and now walked through a world seen only in dreams, quiet way of confirming her passing.
Eivor acknowledged that such a peaceful rest was all anyone could hope for, and the two shared a tight, meaningful embrace.
Picking up her heavy luggage, I began walking alongside her toward her new living quarters. Along the path, she admitted to experiencing a confusing vision during her journey over.
Interrupting our walk, Gunnar the blacksmith called out to greet Valka, jokingly asking if she had brought a curse to the settlement. Valka shot back with equal wit, teasing that the only curse present was a loud-mouthed blacksmith.
Continuing down the dirt path, Valka remarked how rare it felt to cross a vast ocean yet still feel completely at home.
Randvi soon approached to welcome the seer, asking what had kept her so long, to which Valka playfully replied that she needed to ensure the settlement was up to snuff before committing.
As we carried the luggage up the hill, Eivor asked about the unusual weight of the crate, prompting Valka to explain it contained her heaviest alchemy reagents. Randvi chuckled, telling Eivor to put the seer to honest work soon.
Moving closer to her designated hut, Valka pressed Eivor once more about his visions. Eivor admitted that the imagery was feeling less like abstract dreams and more like tangible reality, confirming that the All-Father Odin still appears before him.
Reaching the newly constructed hut, I carried the heavy reagents inside and set them on the floor as requested. With the luggage unpacked, Valka explained that once her home was fully set up, she could help Eivor navigate his visions.
She proposed crafting a special potion, an elixir capable of opening his mind directly into the realm of the gods. Eivor immediately offered to gather the remaining building supplies to finish her hut himself if it meant gaining clarity on his condition.
Gratified by his offer, Valka accepted, and Eivor officially welcomed her to her new home as the quest concluded. The quest was completed but another one appeared, in which I had to build her home first but I didn't have enough good for it for the time being.
That's all for now.
