Mammillaria hystrix flowers
A bit gloomy days that do not allow to open at best the flowering of this Mammillaria hystrix, with shades that veer on the Bordeaux, different from the usual magenta of many mammillaria. Unfortunately, even the photos are a little dark.
The thorns, very clear and tending to white, envelops the whole plant and however hard it may seem hard, it is actually quite soft and flexible.
I find this plant quite unique for the particular spinning that is coming out of it.
