Syrian doctors have requested and received help from the Israeli people in the form of a maternity hospital in Syrian territory. Despite the civil war, the facility is supplied and protected by Israel's "Operation Good Neighbor" and staffed with Syrian medical personnel.
This maternity unit deep in Syrian territory is in addition to the medical care that Israel has been long providing to thousands of Syrians, from a hospital right near the border.
Although this maternity clinic has only been established for a month, about 200 pregnant Syrian women have received care, with 30 giving birth in the center.
Such actions from both sides will lead to peace.
