Hello dear Steemians and photography enthusiast,
Today I want to share with you my wednesday walk that I did together with my girlfriend through the city of Camprodon. It's located at the beginning of the spanish pyrenees in Catalonia. That day we decided to explore the city a bit, because we needed to take a rest from writing on our travel-blog. I just took my camera with my 50mm prime lens on. I find it a good lense shooting in the street because it's really lightweight and the focal length suits mostly what I want to shoot.
We had no idea where to go first, so we just randomly strolled through the streets. After a while we came to a big square, where people were sitting, drinking coffee and talking to each other. In front of a supermarket, a dog was faithfully waiting for its owner although it hasn't been leashed.
We turned left into the next alley where I found a beautiful balkony with colorful flowers on the balustrade. Around the next corner, the street opend up on the left side and continued alongside a big riverbed. Some meters ahead a big old bridge was crossing that riverbed.
We crossed the river by another bridge to check out the other side. It was mostly residental areas but the houses were very pretty. While walking through this part of the town, I found a wonderfulrose in one of the front yards to photograph and also a nice balustrade of a terrace which I thought would look awesome in black and white.
After a while we crossed back to the other side of the river again and walked back through the narrow streets until we reached the arch bridge again. We found out that this must have been the main trading route over the river in earlyer times. On our way back to the van, we imagined how it must have been to drive a wooden cart pulled by a horse through these narrow alleyways.
Hope you enjoyed my entry for the wednesday walk,
if you did please let me know in the comments :)
Have a good week and see you next wednesday!
Constantin
