Oh. My. God. See! This is why my intuition was on fire when I read your very first post. It ran deeper than the content of that one post; it ran straight into your soul where I recognised someone I knew. Feeling all the feels right now. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงกโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

So much to say! Firstly, thank you for info on CBD. Yes, Australia is very slow when it comes to things like this. It looks like you can get it but you need a doctors prescription. I'll be talking to my GP (general practitioner) the next time I see her!

Thank you! to your cousin for the tip about CBD water at Woolworthies. I'll look next time I'm in there.

Your work with doctors sounds fab! So exciting.

I eat sunflower seeds regularly. I'll start adding pepper more. I'll happily read what you're writing on the topic!

I'm currently deep in study on healing the gut microbiome through eating a plant diverse, plant predominant diet. I'm learning what it's going to take to resolve food sensitivities and intolerances, and... I'm hopeful... allergies. Like your son, I've also had issues with gluten + a myriad of other things. I'll happily add CBD water and see what happens.

I think there's going to be stuff in my own study (re. gut microbiome) that may also interest you with Hashimoto's. I know you're flat out with all the things you're currently looking into but Dr Brooke Goldner comes to mind. She had Lupus, a different autoimmune disease. As an MD (doc) she was told that when you have an autoimmune disease you've got it for life. But she changed her diet and the Lupus disappeared. She has since gone on to treat many, many, many patients with a wide range of issues and has come to the conclusion that the protocols she's been using can reverse many autoimmune issues that are seemingly "incurable".

(As I don't have an autoimmune issue) I've been focused mostly on the work of Dr Will Bulsiewicz (USA) and Simon Hill (Aust) as they also speak to the power of a plant predominant, plant diverse diet and are so good at reading nutritional science research and interpreting it for us laypeople.

Okay, I think I could go on all day. But yay for us, learning things, sharing things. Loving this conversation! Okay, so what have I missed?

I began taking it for back pain from an old injury falling off a horse which was hindering me in life so dramatically. I did not realise it was going to help my Hashimotos Auto Immune Disease. My TSH levels have dropped to 4.5 now, I took a blood test to find out if it was helping. My hair had improved, I was not as depressed, my energy levels improved, I was sleeping better amoung other things that were so positive.

Yay for this. You must feel like a whole new woman ๐Ÿ˜

I will order it for him to read through.

Awesome! "Older Yet Faster" reads a little bit like an interesting textbook. So if he's not a runner or doesn't aspire to be one, tell him he can safely flick straight to the section on rehab and skip all the running stuff if he wants. He'll probably want to read the stuff about picking "good" shoes as well.

I post about CBD to Facebook a lot and she reads my stuff there.

Do you want to/plan to start sharing the same stuff on here? I'd happily go follow you on Facebook but I guess that defeats the purpose of what we're trying to do on Hive; move towards a more decentralised way of communicating and connecting online. So you could just share exactly the same thing from Facebook over here. Just copy and paste. BUT I think you need to use some kind of "verify" thing here to help reduce plagiarism on Hive. I don't know exactly how it works but if I spot it again before you do then I'll share it with you. Then you can literally write the info once and share it in multiple places.

Enough for now. Sending so much !LUV
