Weekly Steem checkup - getting my delegation on

Last week I started up my Weekly Steem Check Up as a way to keep track of how my account is growing and what new things I have learnt in the previous week. If others want to use the tag #weeklycheckup I think its a good idea to keep your account on track, and I might throw out some random SBI shares to people using the tag.

Rewards claimed in the last 7 days

Author rewards

According to my wallet in the last 7 days I received 2.780 Steem Power and 2.216 SBD in author rewards. This is significantly down from the previous week, as I didn't receive any large votes. I also managed to power up another 3.24 into Steem Power. As I wrote about yesterday I am investigating ways to increase engagement, and added a 2 steem-bounty@steem-bounty to yesterday's post

Curation rewards

According to my wallet I claimed a measly 0.143 Steem Power from curation rewards in the last 7 days. I expect my curation rewards to drop as in the last week I delegated 80 Steem Power.

Getting my delegation on

Delegation is something I have had in the back of my mind for some time, but have never really had enough Steem Power. This week I decided it was time to make some small delegations and see how I get on. So far I am very happy with the results.

Delegation to actifit@actifit

My first delegation was 30 Steem Power to actifit@actifit, which I have been very happy with. I love the Actifit app, which tracks your fitness activity, which you then post to the Steem blockchain and get rewards - simple!

Delegating to Actifit gives you daily Actifit tokens (leading into SMTs next year), and also helps leading to bigger upvotes.

Overall I have been loving this community, and the positive outlook for the future of actifit@actifit!

Delegation to steem-ua@steem-ua

My second delegation was 50 Steem Power to steem-ua@steem-ua. Steem-ua has an advanced algorithm to create your ‘Steem-ua’ score - the higher the score the bigger upvotes you recieve. Also delegating more means you will get more upvotes. What I like about this is that it encourages more engagement on the blockchain, and for accounts to grow together.

New projects (for me anyway!) I have been interested in

musing@musing

musing@musing, run through the website musing.io, is a question and answer site, much like Quora, where users earn through posting engaging and insightful questions and answers.

I love the layout and the vast amount of information on the site, and I have started asking questions (and answering), and have had great results and a lot of fun! What I like about this is that it is really making me think, and learn, as to get upvotes you need to provide valuable answers to people.

musing@musing recently received a delegation of 1 million Steem Power, so I imagine it will become very busy over the coming weeks - they use the delegation to upvote questions and answers.

dclick@dclick

I recently came across dclick@dclick in a post by taskmaster4450@taskmaster4450 recently (sorry hyperlink didnt work for some reason). The idea is to reward users who generate clicks placed on their posts.

I am going to test it out on this post, so will let you know how it goes!

Conclusion

As you can see another busy week here on the Steem blockchain with lots going on! Again if you want to join in sharing how your week on Steem is going feel free to use the tag #weeklycheckup, and you be surprised with some SBI shares in the future!
