Since coming back from our summer holiday about two months ago I have noticed a real shoft in my activity away from traditional 'blogging' on sites like Steemit and Busy, towards participating in the many different dapps on the Steem blockchain. Although these dapps won't be for everyone, I think they can offer a great alternative to blogging, and also help users grow and diversify their account.

Musing - get paid to ask and answer questions

One of my favorite dapps where I now spend alot of time is musing@musing, which is a blockchain, reward based competitor to Quora. Musing is simple to use, you log in via Steemconnect, and can simply start asking questions or answering others questions. Musing has a large delegation, and a team of manual curators who upvote content which meet their criteria and add value to the site.

What I really enjoy about Musing is there is less thought in terms of coming up with a topic to write about (something I have struggle with on Steemit at times!), as you can scroll through and quickly find a question to answer that you have knowledge on.

Steemhunt - get paid to hunt innovative products

Another great dapp I have started using is steemhunt@steemhunt, which is a platform where users can share great new products they have found, and get rewarded for their efforts. The Steemhunt team are always coming up with new ideas to make the platform the best it can be - recently adding extra rewards for users who upvote and engage with others content.

I really enjoy posting and finding great new products, and reading about all the new technology other users are finding!

Actifit - get rewarded for fitness activity

ANother great dapp I have started using is actifit@actifit, which rewards its user for daily fitness activity. Actifit seems to becoming very popular - I see alot of peopIe follow have started using Actifit! Actifit is a project I really support, and recently increased my delegation to 100SP to show my support.

We all know how important being active is to our daily healht, so why not get paid for it?

Conclusion

WIth all of the great dapps on the blockchain, I am finding myself with less and less time for traditional blogging. I do think that these dapps will be game changers, and change the entire landscape of the Steem blockchain.

There are so many more dapps that I couldn't list them all (and many more in the works!), but I have just listed some that I am spending more time on.

What do you think - are you still spending the same ammount of time on Steemit/Busy or are you dedicating more time to the various dapps?
