In the beginning of every artist we must always find the portrait, it is a vital point in learning to draw, however there are those who specialize in this type of work in a quite impeccable way, they turn the portrait into a reflection of the soul of the protagonist, Well, the good portraitist understands that it is not just about replicating a face, but capturing its essence, its gestures, turning the portrait into an instant in the history of its protagonist, on a Sunday afternoon, a memory to preserve.

In my case, I have personally considered a great evolution from a hyper-realistic portrait to a portrait with few strokes but with more soul, with more character, because in art it is almost essential to make a couple of mistakes, with simple strokes and loose lines. you get to portray a person from the spur of the moment quickly, without much time to think, a very interesting challenge.

En los inicios de todo artista siempre debemos encontrarnos con el retrato, es un punto vital en el aprendizaje del dibujo, sin embargo hay quienes se especializan en este tipo de obras de forma bastante impecable, convierten el retrato en un reflejo del alma del protagonista, pues el buen retratista entiende que no solo se trata de replicar un rostro, sino captar su esencia, sus gestos, volver el retrato un instante de la historia de su protagonista, un domingo por la tarde, un recuerdo que conservar.

En mi caso, he considerado en lo personal una gran evolución desde un retrato hiperrealista hasta un retrato con pocos trazos pero con mas alma, con mas carácter, pues en el arte es casi escencial cometer un par de errores, con trazos simples y lineas sueltas se consigue retratar a una persona desde la salvedad del momento de forma rápida, sin mucho tiempo para pensar, un desafío bastante interesante.
