This is the largest "still life" I have painted so far, it has a peculiarity and that is that the surface of the canvas is made of a fabric with much more texture than that of a common canvas, I imagined that this way I would spend more paint but it turned out to be the On the contrary, if the thinner is used correctly, this type of texture can save a lot of material, plus it visually gives the work a different look, it goes a bit out of the ordinary and that, I suppose, gives it a bit of magic.

The painting shows a slightly messy table, with an open book and some elements that describe an absent character, in the background a window that does not seem to give much light and next to it an easel with a half-painted canvas, and above all , an empty chair, elements wrapped in an aura of waiting, a warm sepia contrasting with a cold and lifeless space...

Este es el bodegón mas grande que he pintado hasta el momento, tiene una particularidad y es que la superficie del lienzo es de una tela con mucha mas textura que la de un lienzo común, imaginé que de esta forma gastaría mas pintura pero resulto ser lo contrario, si se usa correctamente el diluyente, este tipo de textura puede permitir ahorrar bastante material, ademas que visualmente le da un aspecto diferente a la obra, se sale un poco de lo convencional y eso, supongo, le da un poco de magia.

La obra muestra una mesa un poco desordenada, con un libro abierto y algunos elementos que nos describen a un personaje ausente, al fondo una ventana que no parece dar mucha luz y a su lado un caballete con un lienzo pintado a medias, y por sobre todo, una silla vacía, elementos envueltos en un aura de espera, un sepia cálido contrastando con un espacio frío y sin vida...
