This painting is the last commission I made, made with colored pencils on opaline cardboard, measuring 25 cm x 32.5 cm. A long time ago I did not paint a portrait of these characteristics, the truth is that I did not accept any commission for a long time, however, this painting has been one of the best I have done in this format and with these materials.

The fundamental objective of a portrait is to reflect a face on the canvas that is as similar as possible to that of the model, but beyond that, it is about painting the model in a different atmosphere, with a touch of originality, I consider that a good portrait should show a moment in the life of the person, beyond a simple perfect face.
