Decentraland is launching today

Create your avatar, get some cool clothes, maybe a pet, and then move into this new virtual reality world, where you can buy land, invest in property, run a business and do pretty much all the things you can do in the real world.

I almost had my avatar finished the other day, but then stopped because it cost 100 MANA tokens to create it. It's only about $0.50, but that's just about all the MANA tokens I own ;)

I wasn't sure whether this is really the beginning of a new world (like when the first settlers came to America :)) or just a waste of money?

What do you think? Another "opportunity of a lifetime"? :)

The good thing about joining early is that there's a lot to win! Maybe I will join on the weekend...
