I want to share my latest Snapshots from Carinthia in Austria.I was there with good friends from Hamburg and they visit the alps for the first time.They came back from camping holiday in Italy so Carinthia was on their way back to Hamburg.
On our first day we went to "Millstätter Alm" with a beautiful view over the landscape and the Millstätter lake. We where lazy so we took the car to get up there.
Back in the valley we went to my favorite bar in Carinthia. The whole bar is floating on the lake so you can enjoy a fantastic view. We spend some hours there with good food and refreshing drinks until sunset.
Next day we met a friend at his place 1700meters above sea level. This was our start point for a long hike to an alpine chalet.
On our hike we had a great view and we had a beautiful natural sourrounding. We started early so we could see the fog covering the whole valley
Later the temperature got very high so we took every chance to walk in the shadow
It was an exhausting hike but when we reached our destiny after 4 hours we got some power back with an ice cold beer and some traditional desert named "Kaiserschmarrn"
