Price aside, Steem/Steemit has apparently been dying a slow and painful death for a long time now. I'll buy cheap STEEM when someone convinces me STEEM has a future.
It really feels like a lost opportunity. It has so much promise. There are a number of rivals now. A Blogging/Vlogging/Social network based around a cryptocurrency is not a novel idea anymore.
One of the main weak points has been bad actors, from the top and from the bottom. Perhaps it was naive to expect people to have honor when there's money involved.
