The Core Development Team of Bitshares (BCDT) recently found a bug that halted the production of blocks on the Bitshares blockchain a few hours ago. The core developers seem to have identified the problem and has now released an update on the core system. All nodes are now updating their systems to implement the solution.
The emergency solution had been released on Github to fix the stuck chain.
