Objects in JavaScript, Python and C

Before I got to learn any programming language, I always hear people say if you know one language very well, then it won’t be difficult to learn another, you just have to be familiar with the new syntax but most of the concepts remain the same. I started with C before I moved to python and I learned a bit about python. I realized there are a lot of similarities between both languages and I also read that a lot of python syntax is influenced by C.

Engine Light Node and Snapshot Update

The capped block / transaction history is basically the only difference of light nodes, other than that they are equivalent to full nodes. The largest benefit is, that they drastically decrease storage size to ~12GB, compared to ~130GB for a full node. Also the snapshots are only 4.5GB compared to 57GB for full nodes.

COLLABORATION or FREELANCING: MY THOUGHTS

I am back again this time not to share codes but to share my thoughts on the need for us as Dev guys to look for collaboration jobs. Before now, I have single handedly started and completed jobs and thought to myself, 'that was cool; you are good' until i had to recently collaborate on a project that had over 10 persons and was told, Hey man, to function well in the team, you have got to learn other stuff. Guys, you only know what you know. That's all i can tell you.

Traductor de fecha - ¡Practicando con AzulSchool! [ESP-ENG] | C++

Greetings! Here I come back with some programming, this time with more from AzulSchool, specifically, from the course made by Mr. Angel Sanchez that I am determined to finish. In fact I must do it soon, since the beginning of the semester is approaching and the time available will be much less. I'm about 35% complete, so I consider that I'm going at a good pace, if I continue as I'm going I should be ready before the end of the month or maybe a little later.

My first exposure with the C programming language was yesterday, but JavaScript was the first computer language I ever learned. Although I haven't used JavaScript in approximately three months.

if-else Conditional Statements in JavaScript

For the past few days, I've been working on expanding my knowledge on JavaScript. It actually hasn't been as difficult as I thought it would be, as a matter of fact, it's been very interesting 😁. There is a whole lot to learn and it does require a lot of practice as practice helps one in mastering the syntax.

We hope you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from these posts. We also strive to highlight the best and helpful programming and development content on Hive. We look forward to highlighting even more of you.
