Fred is a strong believer in cryptocurrency. Fred has investments worth billions of dollars in cryptocurrency. There is however something Fred is worried about. How will Fred pass this investment over to his children in the event of his passing? Fred also worries about the security of his digital asset. This is what the Safe Haven seeks to solve.

Records have it for instance that over 4 Million Bitcoin is lost due to human and transactional errors. There is also the concern of what happens to this asset should the owner die unexpectedly.

I bet many people have not really thought about what happens to their cryptocurrency when they die. While we are not necessary being morbid, it is very wise to prepare for the uncertain. While the chances of death are pretty slim, one could lose this asset due to theft, loss or manipulation. Asides, there is the probability that heirs might have no idea what to do with the investor’s key should they have access to it.

This was what birthed the concept of Safe Haven. Safe haven is building a platform whereby your digital assets are well protected while you are alive. What safe Haven seeks to create is a platform whereby your loved and trusted ones will have access to crypto assets. They aim to achieve this by using the TFC share distribution key, the trust alliance program as well as the Escrow protocol. The idea is to give the owner complete power over his asset, with the capacity to pass it over to any stakeholder in the event of the investor’s passing!

Safe Haven achieves one of its objectives by distributing seeds or private keys among the kids, say three children. A client can have to visit a member of the Trust Alliance Program. As a result, each kid has a share which is just a piece of the puzzle. Most times, it comes as a certificate. Also, a final piece of the puzzle is handled by Safe haven. It is protected, encrypted and stored on Ethereum blockchain as a smart contract. On the death of the owner, the kids will have to present the necessary legal documents to assess the asset.

Safe Haven stands out by presenting itself as a platform to make any digital asset inheritable.
It is also important to discuss how the SHA token comes into this. Safe Haven explains that the SHA tokens will serve as a payment service. It will be a means of payment if any registration is to be done on the blockchain. Users can get more information from the Safe Haven website as well the whitepaper. Safe Haven is a combined effort of brains like Jurgen Schouppe, the founder, Logino Dujardin – the co-founder, Andy Demeulemeester – the co-founder as well, Sunny Lu, Bert Schelfhout, Destiny Aigbe and so on.
Also, the third quarter of 2018 will see to the launch of the production platform, the expansion of the Alliance program and the hardware ledger integration. While the last quarter of 2018 will see to the launch of the BCP, TIC, Vault as well as exchange of wallet.
