With the advent of the blockchain technology, many of the platforms we use have become open source. This is due to the wide range of application which enables it decentralize a spectrum of system. I want to introduce a new blockchain platform with the mission to decentralize cyber security with the help of white hackers to keep small and medium sized businesses protected.
Buglab comes with a solution that recognizes and corrects vulnerabilities for businesses. This occurs in a wide range of systems ranging from mobile applications to business applications to websites, smart contracts and the internet of things devices. It aims to achieve this by turning penetration test to challenges called contests.
With the blockchain technology, Buglab aims to develop a top tier cyber security platform. The platform will connect businesses that require information security with a group of verified cyber-security penetration testers.
Features of Buglab
There are many features on the platform that makes it easy for users to customize their penetration testing method. While private contest deals with a small community of testers, public testers arise by companies that showcase their pentesting criteria, with invitation to the entire Buglab community.
Users will also be able to select participant by country, area, core skill or the overall user score from the selection filter on the platform. There is a fix companion function with which the Buglab team verify the fixes created.
There is also a vigilante protocol with which Buglab gives white hat hackers the chance to notify businesses not using the platform of the vulnerabilities they might not know. In an ethical and sustainable manner, white hat hackers will disseminate the information.
Users of the Buglab platform will enjoy a transparent billing system that is affordable and reasonable to small and medium sized business. Asides, users have access to a full refund, should there be no vulnerability.
The business will be furnished with reports on the security contest. The report will detail the performance of each contest. With this, the client can compare the security status of its assets.
Three types of contest management will be available to users: the basic, pro and the enterprise. A user that chooses the Enterprise will manage the sorting, grading and classifying of reports by themselves.
In cases where the company chose to manage the challenge themselves, Buglab might be required to mediate. This is often necessary should the pentester feel the validation is not accurate. The Buglab team will have access to the detail of the discrepancy and decide on the case.
There is a leader board that ranks pentesters in the community based on their experience, skill and result on the platform. With this, businesses will be able to select and work with the best pentester.
The Buglab Token
The Buglab token is called BGL. The BGL will give individuals the opportunity to access buglab services and also participate in contests. It will also give companies the chance to buy cybersecurity services.
Also, the activities of white hat hackers and penetesters in the contest and the vigilante program will be rewarded via BGL.
The token type is ERC20 and the total supply is 425,000,000 BGL.
Buglab’s advantage comes through blockchain via the deployment of smart contract. This will translate into a rigid, secure, reliable and hack free platform.
In summary, Buglab offers a preventive, secure and comprehensive solution to all forms of cyber attacks that can threaten your business.
