Painting BIG & creating vibrant spaces out of dull walls is a favorite kind of magic!
BEFORE
I was asked to create a mural in a fitness center of a apartment/ condo building. I used images from our downtown area and the farmlands surrounding the city to personalize the piece. Lotus flowers hold down the wall and bring an element/meaning of Elevation to our best self. The lotus is rooted in the mud and retreats back to the mud nightly and emerges perfectly clean in the morning. The lotus has many beautiful spiritual and cultural meanings as far back as the Egyptians.
DURING
My radiant goddess is there to shine and encourage holding a lotus flower reminding that "Life is Grand". You are the boss of your life, happiness, growth. No one can do your life 'to you' or 'for you'. It starts with you!
I have to confess that someone approached me to ask for a print of this piece... get this, because of the 'scallop' pattern looking like so many breasts! Oops. I won't do that color combo again. haha!
