I like black and white photography because of it´s contrasts. It´s nice to play with light and shadows during photography. Here are a couple I took over the years. I really like it when the sun is really bright and color photography is just dull as ....
I normally run around with my camera and just wait at spots I like. Sometimes I even return to these places having wandered around the previous day looking for light angles and where they might be at a certain time. This seems like a lot of planning, which it quite frankly is not. It´s mostly luck with weather, clouds, timing and then a pretty or interesting subject.
These photos were all taken in Florence near one of the most frequented bridges. The Ponte Vecchio is not only historically interesting but there is always action. I waited untili the early afternoon hours when the sun was pretty perfectly lined up and just went crazy taken all sorts of photos.
