Tenderness aching for comfort in the swirling winds of missing words.
The unshared soul is saturated with shared kisses yet is parched from kissing it all good bye.
A wish for more while becoming less in lessons learnt that, more or less, it’s best not to wish.
The hope pains, longing to be lofted in arms of support. Our palace of imperfect we created now teeters on a soul support in the ocean of a memory.
Two trails of footsteps in and one out with the winds quickly covering them all.
I face fears, I fight tears, I life peer, all for attention come near.
All these years will be a wave out to sea. But I will find comfort once again, for I love free and it is you, chained to yourself, that leaves me.
