lets carnival. A cotton candy and greasy delightful date. We can whirl about on creaky machines that would probably quiet our laughter if we saw the state of disrepair of their inner workings. But such things allude us when we hold hands, walking on grassy fields filled with vendors offering their various fares. Exchanging wages for the experience of wining a trinket or stuffed creature at a monetary loss. But such things are lost in the moment as either of us would steal the waters from the sea to bring us closer to a horizontal sunset. The evening comes as the stars have landed about us in flashing colors. We are travelers now, arm and arm. Souls floating through the passionate kisses in a rickety cart inside a fun house that offers little more thrill than the privacy that has brought our lips slow to dancing. I wonder though, as the sun shines through the sheerness of your dress that drapes of the chair. Where? Where could i have chosen different? Where is the path in the universe that leads from fantasy to fruition. For we are of different worlds, farther than comets can travel. opposite ends of ever expanding distance, such that not even our the light guy of our stars will cross. All my dreams will never bring about the confidence of your soul on pillow next to my head. All my hopes will never bring your trust home so that when rains fall upon your eyes, I could march upon that which distresses you.
