Echoes of fear .
She looked around so quickly, the wall around her was inscribed with red painting.
At least, she thought it was, she felt it with her hands; it was warm and moist
like... like... like...
Blood!!! she thought aloud.
Chills ran down her spine, her vision blurry,
She searched for her Glasses on her side table,
Her clumsy hands fell it down..
"Oh Great", she whispered.
Lots of owls began to gather at the tree, which was visible through the window in her room, they hooted in surprising unison.
Now, there was total, blindfolding darkness.
The light bulb had refused to come on, she didn't see the "figure" anymore.
She checked her phone for the time, "2 am in the fucking morning" she cursed under her breath.
All of a sudden, she heard three loud thuds downstairs she was frightened.
Her stiffened legs becoming locomotive, her mouth heavy for words, drenched in sweat she staggered towards the door in her pyjamas.
