Digital currency is may be the future of currency. Still long way to go. Still, Digital currency is not widely accepted as a payment method. I was doing some freelancing work some time before. I found out that some websites pay bitcoin as payment method. Still, a few websites are doing it.

It would be great if any of the big e-commerce site is started to accept digital currency as a payment method. Then Big bang of Cryptocurrency will happen. Crypto market cap may reach more than Trillion dollar. I.e. If amazon or Alibaba accept digital currency as a payment method, then we may experience a huge price spike of current top digital currency especially Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Ripple.

It is for sure that Alibaba will not accept digital currency anytime soon. Because Alibaba is a chinese comapny. Government of China does not like digital currency. As a method precautions, China already banned Cryptocurrency and Cryptocurrency related activities in last year. We may expect that Amazon or any American or Japanese or South Korean E-commerce site can start to accept Digital currency in near future.
