Still kicking here. Not so high, but still kicking.
Basement cleanup is coming along. Slow but sure. Kind of like the garage. Small steps you know. Been mainly focusing on my old office. It will be my new ham shack to operate my amateur radios as well. We were storing lots of stuff in there. It had also collected lots of junk over time. Like I filled up an entire large box with outdated cables and end of life tech gear. Found a socket wrench set that was missing half the sockets. More old certificates and an old plaque from high school days. Just lots of stuff I don’t really need for the most part. So I trashed most. Donated and recycled some. Cleared off the shelves of pictures and such. Placed those in a box to be put up later.
Going to reposition the shelves later on. Gotta get the closet cleaned out. There’s some old wood trim and finishing stuff stacked in there along with other stuff. Going to move the bookshelf into it and add more later as well. This should make more room in the office. That’s pretty much it for the basement saga update. Getting closer every week.
My shoulder is killing me. Physical therapy is putting the whoopin’ on it. Been to actual PT once. They evaluated me and showed me what exercises to do for now. I only have two. But those two are enough and they give my shoulder fits. But I do them. For the most part. There has been a day where I didn’t because I moved a bunch of stuff around. Like my recliner. It aggravated my shoulder. So I took the day off. Next week I start seeing the therapist twice per week. Not sure that’s necessary, but will listen to the medical advice. Need to get this bum shoulder better.
Not much else to write about for now. Just plugging along. Cleaning out spaces. Doing my exercises. Taking it one day at a time. Some days you make big progress. Some days you just survive. Both count.
