haha, yeah, IT seems to have lots of that mumbo jumbo and this is no different.
CGEIT = Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT.
now here is where it gets funny:
ISACA = originally stood for Information Systems Audit and Control Association when it was founded back in 1969. However, the organization officially dropped the acronym meaning in 2008 and now just goes by "ISACA" as its brand name. So technically, ISACA doesn't "stand for" anything now. It's just ISACA.
