I had the same issue the last 2 days, broken profile picture. Honestly, it happens all the time, every few weeks. Hive devs need to build image backup servers so that users are not inconvenienced like this if they want to be serious competitors in the social media space. You don't ever see this happen on big sites like Facebook or Twitter because they have automated fallback procedures in place.
