I'm pretty sure I have eaten those kind before, they are edible. I was trying to find out if they were the magic mushroom variety, they looked harmless enough. Nothing happened after I ate a few. They won't kill you, I think they were mildly psychoactive. All I know is I've been waiting for them to pop back up again in my yard. haha I took a picture of them and posted about it years ago on steemit.
