Slothee is a modern business networking platform aimed at connecting people with like-minded, insightful business professionals and veterans across all fields. It is disheartening to hear about data breaches, privacy issues and user tracking in current social networking applications which makes it hard to be relied upon by business professionals.

Social networks have proliferated over the last several years. They have become an integral part of our lives, to the point where they can control our actions or how we behave, as evidenced by Facebook’s experiment with the emotions of its members. Issues about personal privacy, data protection and ownership of information have surfaced, rightfully, over increased flows of information. These issues regarding ownership of personal information and commercialisation of such information must be fixed once and for all. This is our core focus.

The Internet magnifies the power of these bullies, allowing them to share whatever version of the truth they’d like people to see, often bringing others to their aid who are fooled into believing they’re rallying for a good cause.

Further it's hard to be expressive of your emotion through a post on social media due to the discouraging metrics such as "likes" counter or number of comments and sometimes it's even more difficult for people moving up the pyramid.

Solution

Immutable, hashed data is stored in blocks that are chained together to create a distributed database, secured with cryptography. This new technology has already begun to disrupt everything from healthcare, to banking, to consumer apps, and is poised to change the world forever.
