In the show Cops, 95% of people incriminate themselves.

It's very intuitive when they say "This is your last chance to make sure things go okay for you." to listen and obey.

In reality, it's their last effort to get you to incriminate yourself, before they take it further or give up. Be polite, straight forward, but don't consent to or admit anything. I know people say you don't even have to talk to them, but in my experience, being a dick, even though within your rights, will not get them to be less dicks, but quite the opposite.
