A Penalty Kicks Shootout at the end of a soccer match often is decided by the flip of the coin. About 60% of teams that shoot first, end up winning the game. I make two recommendations that can fix this, including an alternating sequence of ABBA, like in Tennis. Instead of a coin flip, I suggest a "diddle for the middle," like in darts.
