With the social media in place everyone wants to display their wealth. With new cars, big houses, new phones, travelling and what not. But I feel the real wealth is built and not displayed. As an Indian we have a lot of clothes and we buy it at regular times, so that we can show the world that we have wealth and we can buy new clothes. Now if we compare an average Indian with Mark Zuckerberg, Indians would have spend more money.

If you see Mark Zuckerberg,he usually wear the same t-shirt. Even though he have a lit of money, he makes it simple and not spend time or money on the clothes. Similarly who are wealthy actually have something which works and they don't want it big. But people who have even less money, spend a lot of money for show off and that's why it is said that real wealth is built and not displayed.
For example, as a normal people who have a big house, people think that he might be wealthy. But you never know if he is on debt or not. But the wealthy people or actually the mindset of people who will be wealthy now or in future should be investing and not thinking about spending money for showoff.
Now people will argue that we are earning and why shouldn't we buy what we like. That's absolutely true but again we have to have a limit. Like if you have 10 lakhs for a car, people buy it for 20 lakhs and take 10 lakhs on loan, to show off. But you can always buy the car of 7 lakhs and invest that 3 lakhs. The 7 lakh Car will work, though it is not that good a car for showoff. But thar 3 lakh saved or I say 13 lakhs saved would create a future wealth for you.
