I was having a discussion with some of my friends over the dinner and the topic came is the amount of money we have. In my friend circle there was a guy who actually have quite a lot of money with him, but for him it was not enough and he wanted to earn more and more. Whereas there was a friend who does not have a lot of money but he was contained.

The only difference between them is the mindset and goals. Everyone of us have their different goals and how we want to spend our money. For some keeping a lot of money with them gives them the sense of satisfaction whereas for some they want to spend money on the experiences and for them any amount of money is not ok because they can spend a fortune in their experiences. Now so that it is completely ok to continue working even after you have achived thar financial freedom or continue generating wealth.
That is the reason people go towards the passive income generation because there they do not have to actively manage the money and thus they can spend time with their family as well as continue spending for their experiences. So yeah if you have a lot of money ut doesn't mean that it will help you to get retire as well as if you do not have much amount you can retire happily. It all depends on what you want to do in your life.
People want to retire early mainly because they do not get much time with their family in their initial working life whereas whoever gets it doesn't mind spending more time working and enjoying rather than completely retiring. In my case I am not really sure what when I can retire early as my savings rate is not upto the mark which it should be. So hopefully I have to work for some years or wait for some crypto miracle so that I can retire early.
