Suppose you are new to any platform, instead of writing more and more posts hoping that people will see the content is not going to work. Thousands of people join the forum every day, but how you differentiate from them is the question. This is where networking will come into the picture, for example instead of writing a post try to engage with the existing user by commenting on their post. Try it for 2-3 days before writing your own post. The more you engage, the more chances of your success on the platform because you are getting that exposure which would not be possible only with writing.
On Hive, Threads actually gives you that platform where you can engage as well as express your thoughts for networking. Along with that, you can also go to the posts and directly interact with the people there. New people mainly succeed on Hive because of networking itself and that is the key to growth in any platform.
To give you an example, I have started an experiment with my Medium account which was created 3 years back without any activity. For the last 5 days, I have networked with people and written almost 64 comments on 64 posts mainly on finance-related articles.
This is the stats on these 5 days, where my comments are being viewed by 339 people as well as 54 people have given an upvote in it.
This is just for the experiment purpose and would love to see how it grows from here. The main point I am making out here is that networking is very much needed if you are new to the platform and that can happen only when you start commenting on others' posts.
But keep in mind, commenting does not mean you start commenting with some refined sentences, it should be relevant as well as you can also give your perspective on the topic which will actually help you big time to connect with the writer on the same topic.
