To be honest, I have been playing the Splinterlands from the staring with very less investment, though I have never sold any of my cards to date and thus my less investment have become a little better as time passed. I have not taken part in Phase 1 and Phase 2 because I did not have the required vouchers with me. Most of my Vouchers, I have sold to get some Hive which I have used in buying the packs for the General Sale.
Just like all the people I have waited and also glued through my screen for 30 minutes so that I would buy just in a few minutes because you never know when the pack will be finished for buying.
Now I do not want to be missed again so because of this I have purchased 104 packs which have given me 10 packs bonus too.
I know I might not get airdrop cards, because to get at least 1 card I have to buy 350 cards. But still, I am ok that I have invested this much amount for the packs.
Also will continue to save some DEC and SPS as well as Hive and HBD for buying future packs.
I had some Legendary and Alchemy potions which I have earned through Daily Quests and thus decided to open some packs. I have opened like 4 packs and got some cards. The best thing is that I have also got a GFL which increased some of my collection power.

Now, I will not be opening all the cards at once, but will slowly open them once I have enough Potions. I have to increase my Collection power, to move to the Silver 2 and Silver 1 or even in the Gold League, which can only be possible if I get some good GFL, which I hope to get just like everyone out there.
