This is the question sought by many, some want to get money whereas for some peace of mind is the one which is required. Now it all depends on what someone wants. People who want to go up the ladder soon want to work a lot to get that money as well as the designation. This is required for them to work for money as well as recognition and for them, peace of mind doesn't matter much.

But for others, peace of mind is the deciding factor to pursue their next move. For them, money is important but more than that peace of mind is what they require the most. They do not want to go up the ladder soon because for them having peace of mind as well as a good work-life balance is more important than the fat paycheck they are getting. This is actually good because they do work for a living, they do not live to work. And the work should be stress-free to some extent so that when you are becoming old you should not get too much work pressure.
Me, I have always worked in those companies where there is a good work-life balance but there was some occasion when we have to stretch our working hours which is ok because sometimes when the need arises you have to work, but if the stretch happens always then it's bad. When you always work, then you cannot concentrate on other things and all the other things just stay there and you just work.
This is also bad for people who have a family because they cannot give enough time to their family as they do not have any other time other than the work they are doing. So this is what we need to decide, do you need money and recognition or do you want to have peace of mind?
