I have been playing Splinterlands for more than 2 years and though I have earned a considerable amount of assets in the game still I think I am not a great earner in the game. This is mainly because I have not invested a lot of money initially and because of that my assets are not that much in the game.
So just wanted to check if just playing the game for daily focus and season chests is enough to proceed in Splinterlands. I do not think that we can have a lot of assets in the game if we only play and do not invest from our pocket. People who have invested initially have got their returns by 3-4x but we cannot say the same thing for now. Because you never know if the assets will increase in price from the current levels. So if someone is investing today, we have to see if they can get the returns back from their investment.
But one thing is sure they will advance in the game with the investment and in turn might get good rewards such as daily focus and season chests so that they can earn well. Along with that if you have some cards lying around, you can also give them in rent to earn some money from there too. But to be honest, if we are not investing back our earnings or new investment in the game, it is very hard for us to proceed to the newer levels. Like from the last 2 years I have reached Silver 2 and to get to the Gold level, I have to invest a considerable amount of money to get to that level.
Though it's not like that, I am not investing. Whenever I have some money, I invest to buy cards or packs so that I can advance slowly and steadily.
