I have applied for Waree Energies IPO and got one lot. I have applied for 2 lots and I got 1 lot. Waree Energies is India's largest manufacturer of Solar PV module. To be honest it is much better company than the Premier Energies as well as the PE of Waree Energies is less than Premier Energies.
Since the market is volatile, I am thinking if taking out the investment amount from the IPO I.e. 13.5K and then keep the free shares for long term, or I might keep the shares for long term too. I have not decided it yet. But the Waree brand is quite good. There is a Waaree Tech which is also in the same segment, whose share price has gone up 5K% in just last 2 years.
Yeah I know past performace doesn't guarantee the future returns but think about it, if we get this type of returns in Waree Energies then it's a multibagger. And that's why I am actually in confusion as what to do with the shares and yet not decided the listing day strategy.
For this IPO, I have applied using the Zerodha 1 lot and 1 lot from Groww. The process is same like I have described in the below video.
I actually ask all my friends to apply for the IPO which are good, because that is actually the basic way to get started with the stock market and it can give some good returns too. The investment amount is also quite low, I.e. 15K and that also you have yo pay only when you get the allotment. If you don't get the allotment that money which was locked in your account will be freed. So there is actually no harm in applying, but there is great benefit if you get the allotment.
