Financial Goals 2022 Initiative - Plans

I have created the Financial Goals for 2021 and had tracked them for the whole year. After completing the whole year, I have also tracked where I stand and I have completed almost 80% of the goals which I have created for myself. Now the thing with Financial goals or planning is that it should not be constant and should be evolving just like you are evolving or getting better every day.

So how to create the evolving goals? Simple, create the goals for the whole year and every month do a self-review of the goals where you stand and thus what change do you need to do in order to achieve the goals you had set for yourself. Along with the new games, coins and stocks coming out every day. We can actually expand our goals as we move forward the year.

The financial goals of 2022 are as follows:

Be more active on Hive

I was actually going through my hive data for 2020 and 2021 in the tool created by @balaz and what I have seen is that I was not active for some of the months in both years. 2021, I can think of because I had covid and was staying in my village where the connectivity was not there. But I should not give any excuse as such. So the first financial goal for 2022 is to be more active on Hive.

I think just by being active on Hive, you will surely achieve your financial goals, that's what I think.

Be Healthy

Now, this is added as a goal for financial because I believe health is wealth. If you are not healthy you will be spending a lot of money on medicines and other things. So mainly that will have an impact on your financials, so it is an important financial goal for everyone out there. We cannot stop all the diseases but still try to be more healthy so that we can also make more money.

Do not take a loan

This was my goal for 2021 and will remain the goal of 2022. The loan is a debt and when you are on debt, your whole financial planning goes for a toss because in the back of your mind you always think of getting rid of that loan as fast as possible and miss out on some of the best investments opportunities. I do not want to be in a situation and thus my financial goal should be done not to take any loan in 2022.

Have 16K Hive Power

In the year 2021, I wanted to have 15K HP by year-end but by the mod of the year 2021 I have revised it to 12.5K and I have achieved that. But this year I wanted to have a realistic target of 16K HP by year-end and I would like to achieve it.

As of now, I have 12755 HP and need around 3245HP by year-end. I guess it is achievable if I am more active on Hive.

Have 1000 HBD savings

I have around 200 HBD in savings and need 800 HBD more. This is achievable again if I am active on Hive. So both these goals are actually linked to the first goals themselves.

Have 5000 LEO

Till now I have around 1450 LEO so I need 3540 more LEO to achieve my goal.

Have 5000 STEM

Till now I have around 1160 STEM so I need 3840 more STEM to achieve my goal

Increase my Mutual Fund and Stocks Portfolio by 20%

Getting returns is one thing and investment is another. I do not want my portfolio just to increase by returns I am getting, I want to create a long term portfolio and thus wanted to increase my portfolio by 20% i.e. for example if I have invested till now 100K, I wanted to increase the investment to 120K by the year-end.

Have 6 months expense in Emergency Fund

This year I have used my emergency fund to do personal work. And I have to complete this goal as soon as possible. I think this will be my top priority rather than the mutual fund because the Emergency fund should be the foundation of our financial journey.

I guess this is the financial goal of 2022 which I would like to work on. Again I am flexible enough to update as well improve my resolution as I go forward. Also, do note that HiveStats.io is great to track your financial goals on Hive.
