Google Sheets is great especially when you have to work it with GoogleFinance. Google Finance is free if you are using the Google Sheets. And using it you can track any stock and it's data.
For example, I have created a Google sheet where I can track the stock I.e. SBIN where I have tracked it's current market price, the change percentage from its last closing day. The 52 week high of the stocks, the 52 week low of the stock. Along with that we can calculate the Daily Moving Average. The chart can show the daily moving average but if you just want to know the current DMA, Google sheet is best.
Like we can get the 10, 20, 50 or 200 DMA of a stock and how much it has changed from its current market price. 2 weeks back I have create a video where I have calculated the RSI of a stock using Google Sheets. That RSI was a daily RSI or Relative Strength Index. I got some request from the comments on how yo calculate the Weekly RSI and Monthly RSI. So I have also added that in the Google sheet.
So for that I get the closing price of the week and then calculate the RSI from it. For monthly Google Finance do not have the data, so I have taken the daily data and got the first day of the month and checked it's closing price. And then I have calculated the Monthly RSI from there.
I know it doesn't make sense to calculate the Weekly and Monthly RSI, but as per the comments I have created the video and thus I am happy that I can help someone with their query. So yeah having the Google Sheets are great to get the stock data. Do you use the Google Sheets, then do let me know how you are using it.
