Well, let's begin saying this title is not a click&bait thing (like we see all the time around the web).

So I've decided to bring here the latest update on the current situation in Brazil.

A couple of days ago( around 9 days) Truck drivers("Semi" for our US Friend lol) started a nationwide strike, pretty much bringing to a halt the entire country. All of this because of what we're facing here where 1lt of gasoline(petrol) already reached R$5,00 (around USD $1.35 at current rate) and to help even more to see the clear picture let me be more clear

1 ltr equivalent to $1.35
1 gallon = 3.78 litres
Would be the same as we paying $5.10 for a gallon of gasoline

Some of you would say, sure coderabbitcrypto@coderabbitcrypto petrol is expensive, but here comes the kick, we're the ones the actually produce it. Other countries the buy petrol from us are selling at a rate much lower the people in here are having to pay for it.

And by no means think the effect is not a big one, already a lot of people are not going to work, schools, etc. The markets are becoming empty. I've seen a Monday the was looking quieter than a Sunday.

And people in the streets and on TV talking about starting to stock food and other basic things at home, because nobody knows how long this will go for and even once is over the predictions are the will take over 6 months for the country to recover from all the impacts.
