Woke up in the morning feeling superb because we were to have a physical biology practical in one of the best laboratories in the school . Notice the emphasy on physical , yeah , because we have been doing virtual classes from our devices since the beginning of the school session due to the COVID-19 pandemic and trust me , it has been very boring . I saw this as not only a practical but also an opportunity to go out , meet my departmental mates for the first time and interact with others .
The practical took about 4 hours , from 8am to 12pm , I won't want to bore you with what we did in the practical , but permit me to summarize a bit .
Few moments before the practical
On getting there we were all instructed to get face masks and hand sanitizers and use them , then we were also to come with all our personal writing materials before they can let us in . We all got seated and the practical began , at first were asked multiple questions on laboratory safety . Then we were to analyse , draw and classify five(5) specimens which were lizard , fish , tapeworm , roundworm and prawn respectively , that marks the end of the practical .
After the practical
Sadly , phones were not allowed in the lab so I couldn't take any photo inside . Well , After the practical we all took wonderful pictures , had fun and spoke to each other about the practical and other fun subjects 馃槆 . Then I called it a day and went home .
Everyone already leaving at this point
Well if you ask me how did my day go , I'll say it was beyond awesome because I had a splendid time there , all I can do is share my experience with you .
