CHESS : HOW I PERCEIVE AND PLAY THE GAME .

Chess is a board game played by two players opposing themselves . From my point of view , It is a captivating game that requires intellectual reasoning , calculation and knowledge on probability by the players , at least the good players . Many play professionally and play competitions but rather i take it as an hobby and something i do in my spare time .

chess has several game modes which are classic , blitz and rapid .
The classic is a game where either a lot of time is used or no time is used while blitz and rapid are time based games , you could be given just 3 minutes to play a whole game , that's so intense !

The main objective of the game is to get the king of your opponent under attack (check) , with the king having no free spot to move to , that is called a checkmate , and marks the end of a game of chess .

It has multiple characters such as the king , queen , bishop , knight , rook and the pawn . They all have different movement patterns that make them unique . Which i won't be getting into in this post . You can learn more about chess online if you get interested by reading this .

I have always been a lover of classic chess . No rushing , no time , some will say people who play classic are not smart or fast but some others like myself think otherwise . Everyone has their niche , well , this game mode emphasizes on testing your mental capacity and chess proficiency . Each time you play with somebody else , you'll tend to learn a thing or two , so just like every other thing the more you play , the better you become . I am in the university chess club so it's always for me to get who to practice with anytime .

My best chess character is the knight because they have a very high penetrating power , or i am probably just good at using them . I begin my games by moving the knights forward , they in someway give me control of the game . Every tactic is a good one if you play it wisely .

Lastly , chess is not a game meant for only brilliant or Albert einstein like people . It should be available in every home , school and library if possible . Everyone can play , irregardless of their age , expertise , language , gender or lifestyle , it's UNIVERSAL .
