There is something special about the West, and horses play a big part in this time in history. I have always loved horses, some people call them hay burners, and I have actually had " horse people " tell me that you can figure the IQ of a horse owner by how many horses they own......
The more horses...... the lower there owner's I.Q. .... LOL!
Now let's not have any horse owners get upset with 
They are very intelligent and somewhat spooky creatures. I had a registered papered Arabian and he would kick the water tank when it got too low for his liking....
He also walked sideways past rain bird water sprinkler's, because they were going to get him!
There is also something magical about walking out late at night to the corral blanketed in snow, to hay these guys, and just to stand there and listen to the sounds of them munching there dinner.............
