Let me tell you about my addiction to Ramen. I'm not really sure how it all started, but it was about 2 years ago when I started going through books and videos on how to make authentic ramen.
Most people think of ramen of those cheap instant noodles that taste like cardboard
Well let me tell you that even though this is some sort of ramen (and there are a lot of ramen varieties), real ramen is a very complicated dish. If you are interested to know the anatomy of ramen, I made a post last year about it here. It explains the ramen basics but doesn't go into detail on how to make it from scratch. Back then my profile was more food focused, and I promised to show how to make the recipe....... but ehhhmm..... since then I haven't made more fresh ramen so....... maybe later? xD
I love buying cooking books (even if I don't make all the recipes). So far I have one book on how to make ramen, but I want to look for another one. My favorite ramen is: "Tan Tan Ramen" one made in this place called "Chaya" in Banff

This ramen is very heavy, full of fat.... which gives it a lot of flavor :D!! It's just a little spicy, enough so that it enhances the rest of the flavors.
Well that's it, I just wanted to let you know for some reason that I love ramen (maybe because I didn't have a comic idea xP). Have you ever tried ramen before? if so, do you share the same love as me? I'd like to know.
