My niece enjoying the walk. She and my sister wore flip flops. I warned them before we started. They were fighting a losing battle with the mud. Flip flop retrieval was necessary several times. Courageous cobloc, to the rescue! Here, one can see a relatively rare mud-free stretch of path.
I spent most of the walk looking up, around, and everywhere but down. Which is probably why I ended up twisting my ankle. Recovery was expedient. Here is one such skyward view I captured.
